Long delays on Burlington QEW after truck crashes through barrier

It was slow-going for drivers on the Toronto-bound QEW in Burlington Friday after a truck towing a tractor trailer crashed through a steel barrier.

Ontario Provincial Police say the frame of the truck failed, resulting in the box separating from the frame and tow truck.

South Service Road and two right lanes of the QEW near Guelph Line were blocked for clean-up.

No injuries have been reported.
