London Muslim attacker charged

London police have charged a woman with assault after she allegedly grabbed another woman’s hijab and attempted to pull it off her head in a London supermarket.

Investigators say the assault happened for no apparent reason while the victim was grocery shopping with her four month old son late Monday afternoon.

Police say that the woman started yelling at the victim inside the supermarket on Wonderland Rd around 5pm.

The woman had spat on the victim, punched her several times before attempting to pull the hijab off of her head..

London police have arrested a 38 year old woman from London, Ontario and charged her with assault. No name is being released.

Police are still investigating.
