Local school celebrates milestone

The Dundas Valley School of Art celebrated a major milestone Sunday.

The valley school marked its 50th anniversary of art education, creation and exploration.

The school serves as a place for people of all ages and abilities who want to test their skills and create their own masterpieces in a wide variety of media.

Over the years many things have changed at the school, but its director says the school is constantly evolving to meet people’s artistic needs.

The school was recently renovated and also houses a gallery where works are displayed.
