Local runners react to Tsarnaev sentence

Thousands of people were at the Boston Marathon in 2013, and some of them were from our area.

Vicky Brown and Alistair Hood are both part of a running group from Oakville that participated in the Boston Marathon in 2013.

Neither had finished the race at the time that the bombs went off, although Alistair Hood was rounding the corner near the finish line.

Today, CHCH News reporter Melissa Raftis asked them for their reaction to the jury’s decision to sentence Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death.
