Local Pan Am security

The discovery of a tunnel has prompted concerns over security at other Pan Am venues. While there’s been no direct link to the Pan Am games at this point, Hamilton council has asked police for an update on security measures in place at Tim Hortons field.

Tim Hortons field will host all of the Pan Am soccer games, in Milton the Velodrome will host cycling and there will be water sports in Niagara.  Police in all 3 locations are being tight lipped about security but all 3 have one member on the integrated security unit that is charged with keeping people safe during the games.
