Loaded handgun recovered following restaurant disturbance, three injured

A 26-year-old man has been arrested after police recovered a loaded firearm during an investigation.

Police say it happened on Oct. 22 shortly after 1:00 a.m. at a restaurant in the area of Upper Gage and Fennell Avenue East after they received reports of a disturbance where a handgun was seen.

Three individuals were located with injuries and transported to hospital. Marchello D’eshaun Fletcher, 26, has been arrested and charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm contrary to order, fail to comply release order and assault level one.
