Team Canada opened up their Little League World Series tournament with a win yesterday over team Africa-Europe.

It’s a tournament in which Canada has made the finals only once and that was 52 years ago. Then, it was a group of kids from Stoney Creek who carried the maple leaf all the way to the championship game and one kid in particular, made the most of his moment.
