Line 9 protestors disrupt courtroom

Several people clashed with police inside the John Sopinka courthouse today, after they began chanting, banging, and clapping during a proceeding for 13 people facing trespassing charges related to a blockade at a local Enbridge station.

The protesters are opposing Enbridge’s plan to reverse the flow of oil in a stretch of pipeline from Sarnia to Montreal.
