Linc in hospital

Former Ontario Lieutenant Governor Lincoln Alexander is in hospital after undergoing a serious operation.

Alexander, who turned 90 in January, has been recovering at Hamilton General Hospital for the past three weeks, but Hamilton Health Sciences says the family does not want information about his condition released.

Alexander was Canada’s first black MP and the first black federal cabinet minister.
