Liberals win majority government

Ontario voters have spoken, and the Liberals under Kathleen Wynne have won a majority government.

As of 10:25 p.m., the Liberals were elected or leading in 57 ridings. The Progressive Conservatives were standing at 28 ridings, and the NDP at 22.

The Liberals performed well in the crucial 905-belt, leading in 11 of the suburban Toronto ridings compared to six for the Conservatives. The leaders have spent much of their time campaigning in the GTA.
