Liberal leader Kathleen Wynne unveiled her party’s platform in Thunder Bay today.

Similar to the budget that sparked this provincial election, Wynne says she plans to have the budget balanced by 2017, and also spend $1 billion to build a transportation route to the ring of fire mineral deposit. Wynne says she would make the investment with or without support from the federal government.

The Liberals are also promising to build more hospices, cap hospital parking fees and help highschool students plan their career paths.

PC leader Tim Hudak continued to campaign in Toronto today, where he called Kathleen Wynne’s government “fundamentally dishonest.”

Hudak spoke about the province’s growing debt, and promised that the Progressive Conservatives would control government spending if elected.

The Tories have said that they would eliminate 100,000 public sector jobs in order to balance the budget.

NDP leader Andrea Horwath took a break from campaigning today, and didn’t make any public appearances.
