Liberal support increasing

A new poll shows the Liberals are gaining ground on the Conservatives at the expense of the New Democrats.

In the daily Nanos poll for Thursday, Conservative support is up slightly to 39.1% but the Tory lead has dropped from 10% to just over 6%.

The Nanos poll also shows the Liberals grabbed those points from the NDP.

The Liberals are now at 32.7%, up from 28.7%.

The New Democrats have dropped to 15.9%.

The Bloc Quebecois had 8.7 percent support while the Green Party had 3.7 percent support.

The poll was a random telephone survey that Nanos conducts daily throughout the campaign, interviewing a new group of 400 voters.

The daily tracking figures are based on a three-day rolling sample of 1,200 interviews.
