Legislature resumes Tuesday
Premier Kathleen Wynne has lots to tackle as the Ontario legislature resumes Tuesday.
She’ll also face her first major test when her government’s throne speech is unveiled. Wynne is facing the fallout from the Liberal government’s decision to scrap gas plants in Oakville and Mississauga. The Premier is also dealing with teacher’s unions, who are still fighting bill 115. Wynne says she will speak before the legislative committee on the gas plant issue and hopes to repair the relationship with teachers.
Meanwhile, the opposition says the Liberals need to focus on job creation. Wynne has promised the throne speech will include something for the Progressive Conservatives and New Democrats.
