At least 15 deaths in Quebec attributed to heat

This recent heat wave hitting much of Eastern and Central Canada is being blamed for at least 15 deaths in Quebec.
Montreal’s health authority reports 11 deaths due to complications related to the hot and humid weather and another 4 deaths have been reported in the eastern townships region east of the city.
A Montreal ambulance service says it’s receiving 1200 calls per day, 30% more than normal.
Completely overwhelmed, they’re asking people to only call if they’re experiencing a real emergency.
Officials across the province are advising people to drink plenty of water and check in on neighbours or relatives and get them to a place where air conditioning is available.
