The Hamilton Bulldogs have announced a new multi-year lease agreement at Copps Coliseum that will keep them in Hamilton for at least three more seasons.

The Bulldogs owner, Michael Andlauer, held a news conference Friday morning with Hamilton Mayor Bob Brattina and Copps’ New General Manager Scott Warren. The team has also confirmed that, as a result of the new lease agreement, they have also signed an affiliation extension with the Montreal Canadiens. The announcement puts years of speculation to rest about the future of the team in the city.
