Food safety authorities in China say the excessive levels of lead found in batches of baby cereal products made by Heinz was accidental.
The food regulators tested 19 batches of suspected cereal products and found two batches had excessive lead levels.
Further tests only found one batch with abnormally high levels. Heinz recalled nearly 7,000 boxes of products.
