The Hamilton-Burlington SPCA had a special visitor earlier today.

Laureen Harper – the prime minister’s wife – had a special tour of the facility. Harper is a cat foster mom and a humane society volunteer.

Since living in Ottawa the Harpers have fostered more than 160 cats. Through their network with friends and family they have found foster and permanent homes for hundreds of animals.
