The body of Master Corporal Byron Greff returned home Tuesday.

The 26-year old father of two was killed by a suicide bomber in Kabul on Saturday.

M/Cpl Greff was Canada’s first military death in Afghanistan, since the combat mission ended this summer. This was his second tour in Afghanistan. He was a part of a NATO training mission. Greff’s role was to advise Afghan army trainers who provide training to Afghan soldiers.
