If you waited until the last minute to finish your Christmas shopping you’re not alone.

According to Interac, the company responsible for the Country’s biggest debit system, Canada’s biggest shopping day isn’t Boxing Day or Black Friday.

Shoppers were dashing through the malls, 2 days before Christmas, trying to get everyone checked off their list.

Procrastinating actually paid off for a few shoppers.

The Interac Association says that on this day last year, Canadians spent nearly more than double than what they spent on Boxing Day.
