Last flights from India and Pakistan arrive at Pearson airport

Flights coming into Canada from India and Pakistan are suspended for the next 30 days.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says it was necessary because there has been a concerning
surge of COVID-19 cases and the emergence of more variants in certain parts of the world.
All commercial and private passenger flights arriving in Canada from the two countries were suspended at 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
This morning, the last flights from that region arrived at Toronto Pearson International Airport and Sylvie Lendvay was there.
