It was a much easier flight today for the crew and lone passenger of the Lancaster Bomber as it made the short trip from Keflavik to Reykjavik.

Dozens of well-wishers came out to greet the crew, and Matthew Munson who paid nearly 80-thousand dollars to fly on the World War II bomber. It took more than 7-and-a-half hours to make the trip from Goose Bay to Iceland. Munson tweeted that the temperature inside the plane was minus 8 degrees celsius while it was crossing the Atlantic.

And amidst all of the excitement surrounding the Lancaster — we’re joined now by Morning Live’s Bob Cowan who’s in Iceland ready to get on the next leg of the flight.

So, you must be pretty excited Bob.
