Klees demands answers on Liberal ad spending

Today PC MPP Frank Klees is calling upon premier Kathleen Wynne to tell Ontario taxpayers just how much she is spending on her advertising campaigns.
Klees says Wynne’s government paid a quarter of a million dollars just to place Metrolinx ads.
“All of this is happening at a time when the same government is cutting essential services to seniors to people with disabilities telling patients that the government can’t afford to pay for their life saving cancer drugs or cystic fibrosis drugs and frankly we find that offensive,” says Klees.
The government ran ads during the Olympics, the Academy Awards and the National Football League’s conference finals. Klees believes the Liberals have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and potentially millions on their advertising.
