Kittens left outside shelter

There have been lots of warnings to not leave your pets outside in this cold. But on Monday night, someone left a box of kittens outside an Oakville animal shelter.

The two 5-month old kittens were left in a cardboard box outside the Oakville and Milton Humane Society.

When a staff member came in at 7am, she found them.

The grey tabby is in good shape but the brown tabby is starting therapy Wednesday because it has an injured back leg, a spinal injury and some neurological issues.

It’s not known how long the kittens had been outside, and the humane society is asking for any information on who might have dropped them off.
