King Tut dagger made with meteorite

According to a new study King Tut’s dagger was made with materials from outer space.

New research shows the iron dagger was made from a meteorite and suggests that the Egyptians even knew what they were working with, referring to Egyptian writings about “iron of the sky.” The dagger actually dates back to 14th century BC when iron smelting was rarely used, if ever.

Other ancient Egyptian iron artifacts are also suspected to be from meteorites and the value would have been higher than gold.
