King Street fire

A fire woke up residents at a King Street East apartment complex in Hamilton Monday morning.

Fire crews arrived quickly and put out the fire.

The tenant of the apartment where the fire started wasn’t home and no smoke damage was reported to the other suites.

The fire department say the fire started with the air conditioner which short-circuited.
