Kilbride says thanks

It was the worst ice storm in more than two decades — and it hit as the peak of the Christmas holiday season arrived. 2013 — was a cold, dark Christmas for tens of thousand of Ontario residents. But in the midst of it all, scores of emergency workers and hydro crews gave up their holiday — in a bid to restore it, for others. While it may have been part of the job — that selfless effort made the difference, and meant a lot to some people. And hundreds gathered in Kilbride Tuesday night to show their appreciation.
