Kia Nurse honoured at Pan Am Games

After years of preparation, training and traffic concerns, the 2015 Pan Am games wrap up Sunday with closing ceremonies in Toronto.
Team Canada finished with 217 medals, it’s best performance ever at a Pan American game.
Former St. Thomas More student, Kia Nurse has been chosen as Canada’s flag bearer for the closing ceremony.
The 19 year old lead her team to a historic gold medal basketball win over the U.S, with 33 points in the gold medal game.
Hamilton was host city to soccer and on Sunday at Pier 4 park, there’s music and food to celebrate as well as a fireworks display with a live performance from the Boris Brott National Academy Orchestra.
