Kevin O’Leary involved in fatal boat crash

A boat belonging to Canadian Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary was involved in a deadly crash in Muskoka last weekend.

OPP say 64-year-old Gary Poltash, from Florida, died at the scene and 48-year-old Susanne Brito of Uxbridge, Ont., died in hospital on Tuesday. The boat they were on collided with O’Leary’s boat, piloted by his wife on Lake Joseph.

O’Leary told TMZ, “late Saturday night I was a passenger in a boat that had a tragic collision with another craft that had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene of the accident. I am fully cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation.”

Three other people were injured following the collision and have since been released from hospital. No charges have been laid in the investigation so far.
