Justin Turner signs 1-year deal with Blue Jays

As expectations continue to rise for the Toronto Blue Jays, the ball club secured some World Series experience today.

Multiple insiders are reporting that veteran infielder, Justin Turner, has agreed to join the blue birds, signing a one-year deal worth $13-million.

After an early postseason exit last year, and missing out on superstar Shohei Ohtani, Toronto has been eager to add offense to a team that struggled to score last season.

Turner is at the tail-end of his career at age 39… but it didn’t quite appear that way last season while playing with the Boston red sox.

On top of his leadership, he finished last season with 23 homers and 96 RBI’s, which may be enough to add a needed spark to the Blue Jays.
