8 people have been chosen so far to serve as jurors for the Tim Bosma murder trial. We can’t tell you a lot of what we heard in the courtroom today because the details are covered by a publication ban, but the jurors were eventually selected today, 5 women and 3 men who all look to be between 35 and 65 years old.

They will sit on the trial and were asked to come back February 1st when opening statements are expected from lawyers.

For the first time since jury selection started, Tim Bosma’s parents and other relatives were in court, sitting somberly at the back. Some of the lead investigators were also in court for the first time since jury selection started, including Matt Kavanagh, who recently won a Governer General’s award, in part for his work on this case.
