Jurors continue deliberations in Derek Chauvin murder trial

Jurors in the murder trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin will continue deliberations Tuesday.

During closing arguments on Monday, prosecutors argued that Chauvin killed George Floyd by pinning his knee against Floyd’s neck last May.

The defence argued that the now-fired white officer acted reasonably and that 46-year-old Floyd died of an underlying heart condition and illegal drug use.
