Juno week coming up in March

There’s less than a month until the 44th annual juno awards come to Hamilton, and there were more announcements today about celebrations leading up to the big day. Juno week runs from March 9th to the 15th at locations all across the city.
Niagara Falls native deadmaus tweeted a video announcing he’ll be performing at the Juno awards – but there are plenty of opportunities to catch other Canadian artists in the days leading up to the event.
For 20 dollars you can see Tokyo Police Club join the Sheepdogs at Liuna station March 12th for the Juno awards kickoff show. Proceeds go toward MusiCounts music education charity.
If it’s action you’re after, NHL greats face off against rockers like Jim Cuddy for the Juno Cup on March 13th at the Dave Adreychuk arena.
On the Friday and Saturday Junofest will take place where dozens of artists and nominees will play a series of concerts at over 15 venues across the city including the Casbah.
