Joe Biden to become President of the United States

After days of uncertainty, Democrat Joe Biden has defeated Donald Trump to become the 46th president of the United States. Biden’s win marks a milestone in American politics. It means California Senator Kamala Harris is making history as the first woman, first black woman, and the first person of South Asian descent to become vice president. Across North America, millions are celebrating but others are angry. Defiant President Donald Trump is moving forward with lawsuits questioning the validity of the election process.
