Jason Farr seeks reelection as Ward 2 councillor in Hamilton

Jason Farr says he is seeking reelection as Ward 2 councillor in Hamilton.

Farr said in a tweet Tuesday he made the decision following in-depth consultations and growing support.

“With unprecedented challenges ahead, more than ever, Council will need experienced and results-driven leadership,” he said.

“I will continue to maintain momentum on downtown revitalization, enhance public safety with greater and smarter policing and bring hundreds more affordable housing units to Ward 2.”

Farr ran for the Liberals in the last provincial election in the riding of Hamilton East-Stoney Creek, but lost to Progressive Conservative candidate Neil Lumsden.
