James North neighbours excited about Tivoli sale

Updated One of Hamilton’s most historic and charming buildings may soon see a resurgence, while giving a boost to the artistic community on James Street North at the same time.

What remains of the old Tivoli theatre has been sold for $900,000 to a company owned by local developer Domenic Diamante. It is believed the building’s previous owner – the Candian Ballet Youth Ensemble – will own the historic auditorium, while the rest of the property will be developed for commercial-residential use.
