James Gandolfini dead

Some sad news from the entertainment world as actor James Gandolfini has died.

Best known for his role as Tony Soprano on the Emmy winning hit show, Gandolfini was on vacation in Rome when he died suddenly after what’s being reported as a heart attack.

In a statement, HBO called the actor a great talent, and a gentle and loving person. Beyond his mob boss, tough guy character, Gandolfini also had film credits including “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Killing Them Softly,”. He also appeared in the Broadway production “God of Carnage.”
