Izms charges dropped

Charges have been dropped against the Toronto owner of a company that produces the marijuana alternative known as Izms.

Adam Wookey, 28, was charged with trafficking in March after Health Canada reported ingredients in Izms can lead to suicide and psychosis.

The Ontario Court of Justice stayed the charges last week. No reason was given for the decision.

Wookey was originally arrested after Hamilton Police searched two Toronto locations. At the time of the arrest, they said the sale of Izms had spread all across Ontario.
