Ivor Wynne demolition begins Wednesday

Parts of the historic Ivor Wynne Stadium are being torn down today (Wednesday).

Interior demolition has begun, followed by major structural demolition starting Thursday.

The stadium will be torn down to make way for a new one that will host soccer during the pan am games.

The demolition is expected to be complete by February.

Parts of the old stadium are available for an online auction.
