It’s Back to the Future Day

The future is here… but this time there’s no going back.

Lots of people around the world are celebrating today as “Back to the Future Day.”

October 21, 2015 is the day that Marty McFly, played by Canadian Michael J. Fox, travels into the future in the second part of the series.

While a lot of things in the movie have come true or are in development… don’t expect flying cars like the ones in the movie at the dealership anytime soon.

Cineplex is marking the day by screening parts one and two in many of its theatres across the country today.

On Sunday, the full trilogy will be playing.

Some of the ticket sales will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
