ISS passes over Hamilton

There were a lot of people with their necks cranked skyward Thursday night.

The International Space Station was set to pass above the city of Hamilton just after 9pm.

And on cue, it arrived. It only appears as a little ball of light and as you can see it moves pretty fast. Keep in mind it’s travelling around 27,000 kilometres an hour and is 400 kilometers above earth.

But it’s still a pretty impressive site.

And if you missed Thursday’s pass, it’s set to come back around again on Sunday evening.
