Israeli woman with Canadian relatives has died in Israel-Hamas war

The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) says that an Israeli woman with Canadian family has been confirmed as a victim of the Hamas attacks on Israel.
The centre says the body of Tiferet Lapidot was identified Tuesday morning after she was reportedly taken hostage by Hamas militants.
Tiferet herself was an Israeli woman whose parents live in Canada.
Her identity is being shared upon the request of her family for it to be shared by CIJA.
Tiferet is the sixth person with strong ties to Canada to be identified as a victim of the attacks by Hamas.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called upon Hamas to release hostages in Gaza while speaking in Parliament on Monday.
During his address, Trudeau said that of the estimated 199 hostages taken, three are believed to be Canadians.
