Israel-Hamas war rages as humanitarian crisis deepens in Gaza

The war rages on in Israel and Gaza. Hamas launched rockets at Jerusalem and Tel Aviv today as the United Nations warns Gaza’s health system is collapsing, without water, fuel and medical supplies.

Diplomatic efforts to arrange a ceasefire to allow aid to reach Gaza failed today, leaving the population to endure relentless Israeli airstrikes without essential supplies, as the IDF continues preparations for a full ground assault.

More than 2,800 Palestinians have died in retaliatory airstrikes in Gaza since the war began. And as Western nations pledge support for efforts to free hostages held by Hamas, Israel says the number taken by Hamas last week is at least 199 – higher than previously thought.
