“Iron” Mike Sharpe dies

Former professional wrestler and Hamilton native “Iron” Mike Sharpe has died. It’s a big loss for the wrestling world and for fans who grew up watching the dynamic performer.

Iron Mike was just 64 years old and was found dead in his Hamilton home this weekend. Sharpe called himself Canada’s greatest athlete and is dubbed one of the most accomplished wrestlers of his generation.
