Investigators speak on east end shooting

Hamilton Police say they don’t believe an east end shooting last night was a random act.

The incident put a 21 year old woman in hospital with a gunshot wound. Police say her injuries are not life threatening, and that she walked herself into the Hamilton General emergency room just before 5:30 pm.

Police then learned that the shooting happened in an alley near Cannon and Kensington. However they still haven’t said what led to it.
