Investigation on McMaster campus

One of the buildings on the McMaster University campus was shut down on Friday.

Hamilton Police they were called to the campus just before 9am after a threat was directed at the Institute for Applied Health Sciences.

Police won’t say what the nature of the threat is, but police searched the building along with McMaster staff and it has since been secured.

The building will be closed for the rest of the day and classes in that building are cancelled.

About 1,200 students have been affected by this closure.
