Internet Luring charges

An 18-year-old from Port Hope faces charges in an alleged online luring incident involving a teenage girl.

York Regional Police say he persuaded a 14-year-old to send him explicit pictures of herself.

Police allege the man threatened to distribute the images unless the girl sent him more photos.

Tim Jansen is charged with luring a person under 16 and extortion.
