Interactive Veterans tribute at Gore Park

Gore Park has gone through many iterations since it was first opened, more than 150 years ago, but this may be the most technologically advanced, and forward thinking development yet.

The Cenotaph was the primary focus of the redesign, and the creation of a more open public space in Gore Park, while at the same time honouring veterans from the city who have served our country.

And the way in which that is being done is through an interactive, living tribute, that anyone with a smart phone can easily access.

As the system is developed, new layers will be added to the interactive panels, that will give different story-telling tours tailored to veterans, adults, and children, as well as offering access to personal remembrances, from all who have a memory to share
