Inquest into death of Hamilton man

An inquest will be held into the death of a 23 year old Hamilton man.

Kenneth Lee Charles Lyon died in February, after two Hamilton police officers had gone to his apartment to search for evidence of child pornography.

The SIU report stated Lyon was arrested but broke free and ran from police before falling head first over his balcony.

The two officers were cleared.

The inquest will examine the events surrounding what happened.

And a jury may make recommendations to prevent similar deaths.

The inquest begins in September.
