Injured man found in east end Hamilton on Sunday identified: police

Hamilton Police say they’ve identified the man found injured in the city’s east end on Sunday night.

Police say the man was found near Barton St. E and Strathearne Ave. with what appeared to be a stab wound.

He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

In an update posted Tuesday, police say the man has been identified.

Police are still investigating what happened and are asking anyone with information to contact detectives at 905-546-2907.
