Stats Canada has released its latest inflation numbers, but it’s not good news. Canada’s inflation rate rose to 3.3 per cent in July.

It comes after inflation had tumbled to 2.8 per cent in June, which fell within the Bank of Canada’s target range for the first time since 2021.

According to economists, the new increase spells bad news for the central bank.
